Formatting the Memory or SD Card:

1. Open the battery door.  
2. Insert (2) AA alkaline batteries into the camera.  
3. Power on / off by holding  
Warning: Formatting will erase everything on the card

2. Press Mode to set ADVC01F to photo mode (  
3. Depending on the distance to the object being photographed, use Macro switch  
to adjust the distance. Select the flower symbol ( ) to take a close up phot  
graph (11cm –18cm). To take video or photograph of surroundings or people  
(0.5m - infinity), set the Macro switch to Normal mode (  
4. Use the LCD screen to aim the object you wish to take video or photograph.

STEP 2. Inserting a Memory Card (not included)

Video Clips Playback:  
ADVC01F has a very small amount (16MB) of built-in memory. It is highly recom-  
mended to increase the memory capacity with a SD or SDHC memory card (not  
included). Follow the instructions below to insert the optional SD / SDHC memory  
card into the camera.  
Setting the Resolution:  
1. When video clips are displayed, press REC to play, and press again to pause;  
2. Press or keys for fast forward or backward;  
3. Press Mode to exit.  
Caution: 1) Taking picture for fast-moving object is not recommended.  
2) Image may be distorted when taking picture in a moving vehicle.  
ADVC01F can be set to different resolutions.

2. Insert the SD card into the camera.  
1. Press and hold Mode button to enter setting menu;  
Zoom IN and OUT:  
2. Select Resolution by navigation keys and press REC to confirm;  
3. Different resolutions will be displayed. Select the desired resolution by  
navigation keys and press REC to confirm the selection.  
Note: There is only one correct direction to insert the SD memory card into the slot. Do not force the  
card into the slot, or else it may damage both the camera and the SD memory card.  
1. Press MODE to select Playback mode.  
2. Press and hold MODE button to enter Delete mode.  
3. Select single or all then press REC to confirm.  
ADVC01F has 8X zoom.  
Zoom in or out by pressing the ▲or ▼ button, a number will appear on the display.  
8.0x is the maximum zoom.  
Note: Most memory cards come pre formatted. If your memory card is not formatted, please follow  
these simple procedures.  
Note: you can also press Delete button to delete photograph or video clips in playback mode.

How to upload to Youtube from MediaImpression:

provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.  
Aluratek warrants this product against defect in material or workmanship for 1 Year  
from the date of purchase.  
Can not power on the unit  
Low battery power. Battery placed at wrong  
polarities.  
The memory card hasn’t been formatted  
correctly or memory is full.  
This warranty becomes invalid if the factory-supplied serial number or "warranty void"  
sticker has been removed or altered on the product.  
This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not  
installed and used in accordance with the instruction, may cause harmful interference to  
radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in  
a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or  
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the  
user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by whatever measures may be  
required to correct the interference.  
Photos can not be saved when  
taking pictures.  
If the memory is full, use a different memory card. Format the memory card if it was  
not formatted.  
Warning: Format will erase everything on the card.  
This warranty does not cover:  
A) Cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of God  
B) Accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or modification of any part of the product.  
C) Damage due to improper operation or maintenance, connection to improper equipment,  
or attempted repair by anyone other than Aluratek.  
Can not find removable disk after  
connecting the camera to the

Make sure all cable connections are secured and restart the computer if necessary.  
D) Products sold AS IS or WITH FAULTS.  
Photos are blurry  
1. ADVC01F is not held steadily  
2. ADVC01F lens is dirty.  
3. ADVC01F is set to the wrong focus mode.  
1. Hold ADVC01F steadily until it beeps when taking video photo.  
2. Clean the lens with soft dry cloth.  
3. Set the macro/normal mode according to the distances of subject.
